PBS39 is proud to announce that its documentary production The Changing Face Of Disability has been awarded the prestigious Bronze Telly Award during the 33rd Annual Telly Awards.

The Changing Face of Disability,produced and directed by PBS39’s Ray Steup was the result of a project that spanned nearly two years in production. Underwritten by the Anthony Wayne Services Foundation and premiering on PBS39 on December 14, 2012, this documentary shows how the lives of differently-abled people in northeast Indiana have been positively affected and enhanced through the support of a network of community volunteers and professionals.

Local organizations whose work is featured in this documentary include Fort Wayne Community Schools/Anthis Career Center; FWCS Holland Elementary School; The Fort Wayne Dance Collective; Children’s Autism Center; Passages, Inc.; The Jesters at The University of Saint Francis, Fort Wayne and Turnstone of Fort Wayne.
