Since January of 1996, this informative half-hour has featured local experts from diverse resources and backgrounds to put these developments and trends in to a local perspective.

As a regular guest on PBS39’s HealthLine program over 15 years ago, Jay’s comfortable communication style was very well received by viewers. It was then a natural for him to host his own program.

He started as host of the series Modern Parenting and that evolved into MATTERS OF THE MIND, a frank and intimate live on-air discussion with viewers about mental health issues. Since 1997, Dr. Fawver’s ability to connect with viewers one on one has made MATTERS OF THE MIND one of the longest running and highest rated interactive programs on WFWA.

SENIOR SPOTLIGHTSenior Spotlight, airing Wednesdays at 7:30pm, is a weekly interactive series for PBS39 viewers who have an interest in the local resources available to this area's seniors.

This program began as Sunday Senior Spotlight in the fall of 2006. It soon became a popular interactive resource for area seniors and their families, covering a variety of topics from healthcare to insurance and legal issues.

Viewers, no matter what their age, are encouraged to tune in and call in their questions for Senior Spotlight's guest experts, toll free at 1-866-969-2720 or locally at 969-2720 during this spry half-hour program. It's one more way that seniors can connect with local experts to get the information they need.

PRIMETIME39This area's only in-depth, live, weekly political forum, PrimeTime 39 features the latest developments from the Indiana Statehouse.

PrimeTime 39 airs Fridays at 7:30pm, each winter and spring, during the Indiana Legislative Session, and now, since May 2011, it will air throughtout the year bringing you the latest in-depth discussions on local current affairs. Whether it is local legislators talking live about the status of laws, policies, taxation and more, or policymakers, pundits and those who are making news right here in your neck of the woods, Primetime39 is the best way to stay informed about the issues, policies and legislative actions that affect you and your family.

DISCOVER IPFWIf you have an interest in higher education or what higher education and IPFW is doing for its students and its community, then you need to make Discover IPFW a regular part of your TV viewing schedule. Discover IPFW takes a look at the current state of higher education in northeast Indiana, looks back at its past and ahead to the future.
